  106. Joinng Nato was a choice while being Warsaw pact country and Russia's neighbour was not. Nothng forced my country to join Nato over 20 years ago exept for our own bad exerience with Russia over the centuries. Nato does not force any country to jon. Countries aply and join because they want to and it is not Russia the one to decide about it. USSR is gone and Russia does not own Eastern Europe. If Russia was a good neighbour, there would be no need to join Nato. Putin loves ivading its neighbours and it is much easier for him to invade if such a country has no Nato protection.
