USSR invaded Poland just 17 days after Nazi Germany and USSR was Hitler's ally till 1941. Russians love skipping this part of soviet history. Russia is not a special need baby. Russia simply loves annexing its smaller neighbours everytime it can and uses every stupid excuse possible to justify it.

Russia was supposed to respect Ukraine's indeppendence and borders according to Budapest Memorandum signed by Russia in 1994. Ukraine's political and path choices are up to people of Ukraine, not up to Russia. If Russia was a good neighbour, there would be no need to join Nato to be secured. Ukraine is not soviet backyard anymore and USSR is gone. Putin simply needs excuses to annex Ukraine. He wants Ukraine. All the rest is bs.

Nato did not cross Russia's borders. Russia did cross Ukraine's borders with tanks. Putin uses Nato as an excuse. Ukraine is not even Nato member and had no chance to join. utin wants Ukraine. Blaming Nato expansion for War in Ukraine is like blaming a victim for calling the police because she did not want to be hurt anymore. USSR is gone, Eastern Europe is not soviet backyard anymore and their will to be secured by Nato is understanble.

@DemiGod.. There was no written agreement not to expand that you can show me so stop spreading russian fakes and propaganda. USSR is gone, Russia still keeps invading and annexing its neighbours so Nato exists for a reason. Nato is not annexing. Russia does annex just because it can.

Nato is at Russia's doorsteps for decades. This is bs excuse for Putin.Nato never invaded Russia and would never invade a country with nukes while Russia loves invading and annexing its non Nato neighbours just because it can and wants to. If Russia was such a friendly neighbour, there would be no need to ask for Nato memebership to be secured. Russia simply loves annexing its smaller neighbours and playing the victim card. Nato would never invade nuclear power of Russia so Nato expansion is bs excuse. Nato is at Russia's borders for decades. Why didn't Putin invade Baltic states? Because they are Nato members. Putin uses Nato as an excuse to justify his sick idea to annex Ukraine. War was never about Nato. If Russia was a good neighbour, many former Warsaw pact members would have to need to join Nato to be secured.
