Comments by "Frida Kahlo" (@Blanka1100) on "What is the role of Nato in the Russia-Ukraine crisis? - BBC News" video.
Exactly. Nato do not expand by force. It's a choice of every member state and it's not Russia to decide about other countries pact choices and future. Why does Putin think he has any right to talk about Eastern Europe above their heads. It's not Yalta anymore. These are independent states and their future is up to them. They know Russia much better than Western Europe but they are hardly listened or heard.

Russia did not change at all since USSR era. Dictators never stop. They just have a break.

And poor victin Russia never attacked its neighbours....Yeah, right, nice joke. Nato expansion is not made by force unlike being Russia's satelite state. Eastern Europe know Russia and can tell you something about it.

It's not comfortable to be Russia's neighbour that's why some of them joined Nato or want to do it.

Being neutral while being former USSR state and now a neighbour of Russia attacked already in 2014. Good luck.

@athemorph6435 Don't even tell me everything was ok in 2014 because world does not work that way that a "green men" can come and take a land just because it used to be yours at one point in history. And don't even recall so called "refferendum" because you make fool of yourself. Putin acts like Hitler and he uses the same ethnic and historical excuses to justify his sick ideas.

Russia's demands are insane. Nato's promise? It's not Russia to talk to when it comes to other countries pact choices. These are independent states. Nobody gave Russia right to tell them what they can or can not do. Eastern Europe it's not Russia's backyard anymore. You can not decide their future above their heads like in Yalta after WWII Russia should stop playing the victim card.

Cold war is over but Putin's state of mind is still soviet. Come on, he just need an excuse like every dictator.

@oliurrahman9103 If Russia was a good neighbour Eastern European countries would have no need to join Nato for its security. America bombed fucked up countries run by dictators and fucked up by their own dictators in the first place.

@oliurrahman9103 Firts of all I am not even American. Second, Iraq was fucked up by its own dictator, the same for Afghanistan or Serbia.
