Others have learnt their lesson and moved on. Russia never learns. Russia has a break from time to time and that is all. Besides, Poland has never had any treaty with Germany in the 1930's unlike USSR.

  15.  @ljm-i3v  East Germany was soviet satelite state, the same as Poland but it has never been a part of USSR. It has never been soviet republic like Ukraine or Belarus. It was forced to live under Moscow's commands but it was still a separate country.

  16.  @ljm-i3v  It was a puppet state but it was not a part of USSR unlike Ukraine, Belarus, Georgia Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. It pisses me off when people still mix these two. Soviet satelite states had their own land, borders, flags, anthems and most often more freedom in terms of economy and other things here and there.

Russia invaded its non Nato neighbours because it could invade non Nato Ukraine only.. Russia has nukes so who is Russia afraid of? It is not about Nato. Ukraine is not even Nato member and had no chance to join. Nato is an excuse. Putin wants Ukraine as a part of Russia. He calls Ukrainians "little Russians". Nato has nothing to do with it.

  28. Who invaded Ukraine? Did Poland, France or Germany invaded Russia two years ago? What is your point? Russia lost to Poland in 1920, Russia lost to Japan, Russia lost the Cold War, besides USSR and Germany both started WWII and invaded Poland in september 1939.

Russia always needs excuses, Russia uses every fake to justify its crimes and it does not matter what West did or did not do. Russia always blames others for its own failures and crimes instead of looking in the mirror. What happened in 2014 was not a coup. Yanykovch ordered to hurt Ukranian protesters, he lost support of his own party, Ukrainian parlament voted him out and he run to Moscow where he belongs to. West owes Russia nothing. Russia is neither super power nor a special need country to demand anything, Russians see USA intervention everywhere even if it is not there. Russians always skip Eastern European and Ukrainian will, agenda and rights. Former Warsaw pact countires do not need USA to tell them what to think about Russia because they know it first hand and they were tired of Russia for a reason. It is called will of a nation experienced by Russia.
