Besides blaming Russia's neighbours for their will to join Nato is like blaming a victim for calling the police because she did not want to be abused anymore. Russia is the reason why so many former Warsaw pact members joined Nato as quicly as they could. Putin could invade non Nato Ukraine only. Nato is an excuse. Russia has always been Eastern Europe's nightmare.

  4. @ It was never about Nato expansion. It is about russian core and Putin's ego. He wants russian empire back and he could invade no Nato Ukraine only. He did not invade Poland or Finland which also border Russia and are Nato member states.

Russia broke Budapest Memorandum. Russia has never been a good neighbor and every Eastern Euroepan knows it. It does not matter which excuse Russia picks in the end. It s an excuse, not a reason.

  10. @ There was no paper signed, no written agreement that you can show me and Eastern Europe is not soviet backyard anymore to demand such a thing. Why didn't Putin invade Finland which has the biggest land border with Nato? Why did he invade non Nato country of Ukraine? Because he wants Ukraine. If Ukraine had been in Nato, Putin would have not been able to invade it. Nato is an excuse. Putin wants russian emire back.
