  5. USSR invaded Poland just 17 days after Nazi Germany (17th of september 1939) and USSR was Germany's ally till 1941. They held joined victory parade in Poland. Poles do remember that USSR was anything but liberator.

I am Polish and I know Russia simply loves annexing just because it can with every stupid EXCUSE possible. Ukraine is not even Nato member and had no chance to join.
