@mikkopunkari1676 Nato never invaded Russia and nobody would dare to invade nuclear power. Russia invades non Nato neighbors just because she can and wants to. It is russian state of mind. Nato has nothing to do with it. Nato stops Russia's ideas.

Nato is an excuse for Russia, not a reason. Russia has never been friendly. Putin wants Ukraine as a part of Russia. Ukraine had no will to join Nato before 2014 and no chance to join after that. Putin does not want Ukrainian language and culture to exist. He knew he could invade non Nato Ukraine only.

@mikkopunkari1676 Ukraine had zero chance to join. First of all Germany and France did not agree. All Nato members must agree to let another country in. Nato does not want countries with border issues and ongoing war to join. Ukraine had no chance to join after 2014. Nato expansion is not a threat for Russia. It is a threat for Putin's stupid ideas. He can not invade and overrun as much as he would like to. Blaming Ukraine for its will to join Nato is like blaming a victm for calling the police because she did not want to be hurt anymore. utin can not face article 5 of Nato and he knows it. He wants Ukraine as a part of Russia. Nato member Ukraine would be impossible to invade. Russia does not own Eastern Europe. Get over it. West owes Russia nothing as well.
