ba bs and more bs. If Russia was a good neighbor, all those former Warsaw pact countries would have no need to turn their back on Russia and join Nato. USSR is gone but Russia still keeps invading neighbors. BTW Chechoslovakia did not join Nato. Chech Rebublic did. And so did Slovakia. @paulozimek276 Nato is at Russia's doorstep since 1999 when Poland joined. Baltic States joined 5 years later. Ukraine had no chance to join Nato in the nearest future because of border problems and Donbas mess. Nato is an excuse for Putin. Did Putin wake up yesterday?

Nato never invaded Russia and had no such stupid idea to invade a country with nukes. Nato is at Russia's borders for over 20 years and Putin wake up 10 months ago? Ukraine is not even a Nato member and had no such oportunity to join the pact because Nato does not want countres with border problems as its members. Putin pays separatists in Donbas to keep Ukraine out of Nato because it works for him. He does not even consider Ukraine as an independent state. He want to annex Ukraine and all he can do is to invade non Nato country. Why did't he invade Lithuania, former soviet republic? Because he can not invade Nato member state.

Russia simply wants to annex Ukraine. It's Russia expanding West by invading its neighbors. Putin hates Nato because he can not invade Nato member neighbor. There was Budapest Memmorandum signed by Russia in 1994. Russia was suposed to respect Ukraine's independence and borders. What Russia says is often exacty the opposite to what Russia does. Russia's neighbors know it best. This dude does not.

USSR invaded Poland on 17th of september 1939, 22 000 Polish officers were killed in Katyn in 1940 because of Stalin's orders. Stop playing liberators and heroes. Ribbentrop-Molotov pact? Ring a bell? Katyn massacre? ring a bell? WWII started in 1939 and USSR was the aggressor, the same for nazi Germany.

For Eastern Europe Russia is anything but liberator, anything but friendly and anything but peacemaker. Russia loves taking all USSR WWII glory as long as it suits russian narrative but at the same time Russia refuses to admit its dark sides. It's USSR which invaded Poland on 17th of september 1939, it's Soviets which committed Katyn Massacre of Polish officers in Katyn forest in 1940. Russians still think they "liberated Europe" and they are being told WWII started in 1941 which is bs.

I am Polish and I am sick and tired of this guy. We are free people. Nobody forced us to join Nato exept for Russia's behviour on our soil over centuries. We are not Russia's buffer zone. We are not soviet backyard anymore. We are done with Putin's paranoia and excuses. Nato is an excuse for Putin. All he can do is to invade non Nato country. If your country borders Russia staying neutral is pure utopia.
