Nato does not force anybody to join. Joining Nato it's a choice of every independent state and Russia is the last one to decide about other country's pact choices. If russia was a good neighbor, all those former Warsaw pact countries would have no need to turn their back on Russia and join Nato. He is not. What JM does not understand is that Russia is not the only one to have security concerns and rights in Eastern Europe. Russia's neighbors and former/current victims have it too. This war is not about Nato. Nato makes Putn's plan to invade, annex and expand imossible and that is why Putin hates it. He can not invade Nato member state. Russia still occupies 20% of Georgia, Russia took Crimea, Russia invaded whole of Ukraine and tries to annex Eastert part of it. Russia does the same thing as always. Tries to expand.
