She knew Russia better than most Americans and Western Europeans ever will. Does anybody care what we, Russia's neighbors, want? We are not Russia's puppets anymore, we are not Russia's buffer zone, we are free people, Russia does not own Eastern Europe. Stop spreading russian fakes. Nato never promised not to exand. There was no written agreement, no paer signed that you can show me and bs small talk behind the scene did not matter. Eastern Europeans, their will and their voice did matter. They are free people, not Russia's puppets or a buffer zone. Why is it always Russia which demands a special treatment? What about Russia's victims? Do you care what they want and why oh why so many of them joined Nato as uicly as they could? It's not because Russia was so friendly. Exactly. Why didn't Putin invade Poland or Lithuania? He invaded Georgia in 2008 and now Ukraine because they are not Nato countries.

Russia still occuies 20%of Georgia. If Russia was a good neighbor, all those former Warsaw pact countries would have no need to join Nato to be secured. Nato does not force anybody to join. @naasking USSR invaded Poland on 17th of september 1939 and Soviets committed Katyn massacre of 22 000 Polish officers in Katyn forest in 1940 but Russians still think they were all angrls and liberators for Eastern Europe.

@nordan00 Did USA annex Cuba's land? Putin dos not even consider Ukraine as an independent state and does not want Ukrainian language and culture to exist. Can you see a difference? USSR is gone but Russia still loves invading its neighbors so they want to be Nato members to be secured. Russia does not own Eastern Europe.
