Joining Nato it's a choice while being Russia's neighbour is not. If Russia was a good neighbour, there would be no need to join Nato.

@cnccarving It's in still NOT RUSSIA to decide about it! Who does Russia think it is Poland joined Nato because Poland knows Russia. Russia has never been a friendly neighbour to Poland. Russia's neighbours never attacked Russia, it's always exactly the oposite.

@happines3511 Post communist countries of Poland Hungary and Czech Republic joined Nato in march 1999 Putin was not even in power back then. Go educate yourself.

@happines3511 Poland borders Russia in Kaliningrad and joined Nato in march 1999. Go look at the map. And all of a sudden Putin has problem with Ukraine's will to do the same. He simply wants to restore USSR and he can't do it without Ukraine. Nato is just an excuse.

Besides, joining Nato it's a choice of every independent state and it's not Russia to decide about its neighbour's pact choices. Who does Russia think it is? @TsarOfRuss Russia has nukes pointed at Poland in Kaliningrad. Did Nato attack Russia "just in case"? No. Ukraine has no nukes, Ukraine gave up its nukes and Russia was suposed to respect Ukraine's independence and borders according to Budapest deal and Russia still thinks it was ok to invade Ukraine. Having a weapon and using it are two different things. Russian trolls are so redictable with their "whataboudism" lines and Cuba crap argument. USSR is gone. @TsarOfRuss One more thing...Baltic states joined Nato, Poland joined Nato over 20 years ago, all of those countries are Russia's neighbours and all of a sudden utin has roblem with Ukraine? Nato expansion is just an excuse for Putin. He simply hates the fact that USSR is gone and Ukraine is not his backyard anymore.

@goranborjesson5593 First of all I am not American and I am not a fan of everything USA does. Second of all. Does crime committed by one country justify crimes committed by Russia? UDA is imperfect but it is democracy. They do not have the same guy in power for over 20 years. They have free media and freedom of seech and Americans will not face 15 years in prison for calling war a war like Russians do. "Unproved accusations"? Those who did prove accusations against Putin are dead, poisoned or put in jail.

@goranborjesson5593 After centuries of being invaded by Russia, attacked and killed by Soviets, aftery 50 years of communist regime my country did not ask for I know one thing for sure. It is better to be USA ally than Russa's puppet state. Russia has nothing to offer exept for poverty, invasion, rapes committed by russian soldiers. Russia loves invading its neighbours and call it "liberation". Russia is anything but liberator. It's my country's experience. I am not sorry for Osama or Saddam being killed. Why should I.
