  1. Ukraine is not even Nato member and had no chance to join. If Russia was a good neighbour, there would be no need to join Nato in order to be safe. Nobody invaded Russia. Putin invaded Ukraine because he wants Ukraine back as a part of Russia and he could invade non Nato Ukraine only. Nato is at Russia's borders for decades. Nato is an excuse for Russia, not a reason.
