  2. Germans do remember "hunger and despair" while Poland invaded by both Germany and USSR in september 1939 had a picnic life during and after WWII. Yeah, right.....20% of Polish people were killed in WWII. Auschwitz was built on Polish soil and Poles were its first victims. Poles did not ask for 50 years of communist regime either.

  6. It's Putin who should be afraid of escalation, not the opposite. Germany's experience with Russia is nowhere near to what Poland has been through. Former Polish FM said at one point to Russia "Please do not threat us with your nukes more often than once in 6 months because it's getting boring". Russia's neighbors are used to it and do not bother. Power is the only language dictators care about They will not stop if they see your weakness. Germans should have known that. Besides most of WWII soviet victims were Ukrainians.

  10. Being independent and being neutral is not the same. If your country is so close to Russia being neutral is pure utopia. It's like an invitation for Putin "feel free to invade and annex".

  13. Nato is an excuse for Putin. Nato would never invade a country with nukes and Putin knows it. He wants to annex Ukraine. The rest is bs excuse.
