I am Polish and I think it is very easy to scare German society. We Poles are used to russian threats because we hear it every other weekend.

@richidollarr4578 We hear russian matrix version of history and threats about smashing our capital city. Polish FM said at one point a few years back "Do not threat us with your nuukes more often than once in 6 months because it is getting boring".

@perseusrex614 Nato is not a reason for Putin. It is an excuse. He wants Ukraine as a part of Russia. He invaded because he could and wanted to invade non Nato Ukraine. Nato is not a reason for Putin. His greed is. If Ukraine had been in Nato, Putin would have never started
