  18.  @leonardoorellano6652  The peak of Poles going to UK or Germany was 20 years ago. Unemployment was 20% back in 2004. Today is the lowest in EU. Update your knowledge. There is no need to go to UK anymore. Nobody in right mind emigrates now. Not anymore. Poland improved so much. Some simply do not want to see it. They prefer being blind and ignorant or are stucked in 1980's with their image of Poland.

Besides USSR was anything but a liberator for Eastern Europe. USSR was Germany's ally till 1941 and both invaded Poland. Russians love skipping this part of WWII history.

Putin acts like an abusive former husband who can not stand his wife Ukraine) filed for divorce and called the police becahse she did not ant to be hurt anymore. I wil say it once again. There are many Poles all around EU but the reason why they left (most long time ago, not recently as it is not so profitable anymore) is different from reasons why people of Belarus run away from their country. Poland is a democratic state with free, transparent and fair election and Poes do not have the same guy in power for about 30 years. Poles wor in the EU because they can. EU is not "some other country". Poland is EU. Belarussians escape from Belarus in order to be free and in order to live in a free country. Belarus is anything but free and democratic. Joining EU was somethig Poles voted for. Poles never asked for being soviet puppet. It was made by force.

Poles are EU members and they can live an work whereever they want inside EU. Belarussians living in Poland want to be free in the first place. Belarus is not a free country. There are also more important things in life than just money.

What is more they love skipping USSR dark sides (like invading Poland, being Germany's ally till 1941 and helding joined victory parade with Germans in 1939, the same for Katyn Massacre of Polish officers in 1940).
