@Илья-у1ю Russia s huge in terms of land but still most Russians have never been abroad and way too many do not even have toilet at home. Russia's gdp is Italy's gdp. More land does not mean more power or wealth but keep living in your matrix if that makes you feel better. Putin achieved nothing in Ukraine exept for Pariah State status. Putin has lost his people's future.

@freddikruger4622 Freedom is not for free. Yeltcin was trying his best but at the same time he was the one responsible for first Chechenya war. Russians are raised to be passive. It s not a matter of a few decades. It is much more. Their history books it is a matrix. They claim WWII started in 1941 and always skips USSR history dark sides like invasion of Poland on 17th of september 1939 or Katyn Massacre. Putin was lucky on many levels and West was too blind for way too long.

@cibulya Stop spreading lies. Nato never promised not to expand east.There was no agreement. USSR collapsed because it was poor, weak and failed in Afghanistan. Nato does not force any country to join. Nothing forced my country to join Nato many years ago exept for our own experience with Russia's imperialism and greed. Being Russia's neighbour is a bad luck and beig Warsaw pact country was not something my country asked to be a part of. Russia must look in the mirror and stop playing the victtim card. If Russia was a good neighbour, there would be no need to join Nato to be secured. Putin acts like an abusive husband who blames his wife for calling the ppolice and filing for divorce because she did not want to be hurt anymore. Eastern Europeans are free people, their agenda, security concerns, own experience with Russia do matter. Russia is not the only one to have rights. Russia is not a super power. Russ is not a special need baby. Stop blaming others and stop looking for fake excuses to justify your own crimes, failures and mistakes. Nato never invaded Russia. Nato is an excuse for Putin. Putin wants to annex Ukraine. He hates Nato because he knows he can not invade Nato member neighbours.

@MegaHan917 There was Budapest Memorandum signed in 1994 and Russia was supposed to respect Ukraine's independence and borders but Russians prefer complaining about some bs small talk behind the scene and calling it "a broken promise". Who gave Russia any right to have anything to say when it comes to other country's pact choices? Nato is an excuse for Putin to justify his sick idea to simply annex Ukraine. If Ukraine had been in Nato, Putin would have not invaded it. All he can do is to invade non Nato neighbours and he still fails.
