Russian propaganda is still strong here and there. If Ukraine failed in first 3 days of war guys like Macron or Scholz could not care less. It has changed recently but it was not obvious at the beginning.

It is about Putin's ego and his sick legacy. He does want to annex Ukraine and does not consider Ukraine to be a real country. Russia is not a special need baby and Eastern Europeans are free people, stop blaming them for their will to be secured. Putin had no reason. Putin needs excuses and Putin is paranoid. If Russia was a good neighbour, there would be no need to join Nato. Poland or Baltic States hate Russia for a reason. Russia must look in the mirror first.

Joining Nato was their choice while being Warsaw pact member was not. Sttop blaming a victim for calling the police. Nato exansion is bs excuse, it is not a reason for Putin. Russia loves annexing just because it can. Russia will never change. Russia loves annexing its non Nato neighbours so Nato exists for a reason and Russia has nothing to say.
