Their history books it's a matrix. They think WWII started in 1941 and they always skip a part when USSR invaded Poland in 1939 or committed masacre of Polish people in Katyn in 1940. They claim "We are liberators, we have never invaded anybody". They are raised to believe it.

I am from Poland and I know one thing for sure. They are raised that way. Their history books it's a matrix. They love taking all USSR WWII glory, they consider themselves as all angels and liberators. They think WWII started in 1941 and always ski that art when USSR invaded Poland in september 1939 or the one when Soviets committed massacre of Polish officers in Katyn forest in 1940. They don't understand that Eastern Europe they were no better than nazis. Nato is an excuse for Putin. Nato is in Eastern Europe for over 20 years. oland joined in 1999, Lithuania in 2004, both Russia's neighbors. Did Putin wake up 10 months ago? All Putin can do is to invade non Nato country. It's all about Putin's ego and his sick legacy. He wants to annex Ukraine. Dictators need excuses.

Germans are able to own up to their own guilt. Russians never do it. Their history books are fool of lies and fakes. They don't even know USSR invaded Poland in september 1939. They think they "liberated Eastern Europe". They really believe it.

Russia was suposed to respect Ukraine's borders and independence according to Budaest Memorandum signed by Russia in 1994. Take your toys out of Ukraine. Nobody wants to be liberated by you.

@hovhanneshovakimyan I am sick and tired of Cuba crisis justification for Russia. Different time and story. USA did not annex Cuba's land and war i Ukraine was never about Nato. Nato is an excuse. Putin does not even want Ukrainian language and culture to exist. Ukraine is not even a Nato member. Nato does not want its members to have border problems or war in rogres so Ukraine had no chance to join Nato in the bnearest future. Putin simply wanted to annex Ukraine. There is is bs.

@RichardTaylor1630 There is no such thing as "modern Russia". Russia will never change. They don't know any better and they are unable to own up to their own guilt in the first place. USSR is gone, Russia still loves invading neighbors.

@Zooboo1 It's funny how Russians love taking all WWII glory and skip Ribbentro-Molotov pact and USSR invasion of Poland in september 1939 as well as Katyn Massacre of Polish people in 1940.
