Croatia is doing great while Serbia for example is stucked in the past and Russia is their only friend.

@dimel1347 You have no clue what you are talking about. Kees living in your matrix. UE and Nato memberships were the best things that could have happened to Poland.

Poles did go abroad because they could and nothing wrong with that. Some came back, some did not. It was a great opportunity to improve language skills and work ethic. You can not force anybody to stay inside a country. Cold war era and closed borders are over. EU is not about money and trade only. It is also about values. I am Polish myself and I can not imagine my country outside of EU.

@Icek Szechter If Russia is the one to represent those values, I am done.

Joining Nato and EU was a choice while being Warsaw pact country and Russia's neighbour never was. Russia is expanding by force. USA did not invade or annex Eastern Europe. Eastern Europeans simply know Russia has nothing to offer exept for geocine, poverty and rapes.

@camaradatrotsky5584 I am not sorry for messed up Milosevic. Nato did not bomb Belgrade because it had no better things to do. Milosevic had sick geocine ideas. Russia and Serbia are best friends. Losers stick together, I guess. They love blaming others for their own failures.

@camaradatrotsky5584 There is no evidence. It is fake and nobody, exept for Russians and their other pathetic allies, believe in. Hitler was "protecting Germans in Chechoslovakia" in 1938. Every dictator needs excuses to annex somebody else's land

@Илья-у1ю Russia has nothing to offer exept for poverty, geocine, rapes and war. That is why so many former Warsaw pact countries decided to join both EU and Nato insted of "mother Russia". This time they had a choice. Being Russia's neighbour is not a choice. It is a bad luck If Belarus is such a paradise than why so many young people run away and prefer living in Poland?
1
@Whiteruthenian It not about war. It is about their desire to be free and will to fight for it. EU is much more than money and trade for most former Warsaw pact countries who joined in recent years.
1
@marietg8025 And whose fault is that? Serbia does not deserve to be EU member. They should join "mother Russia" if they love it so much. EU is not about money only.
1
@marnixkamminga8083 It is Russia which created Putin, not the opposite. There is no hope for Russia. Russia is always the same.
1
@ИльяБайдин-п1щ stop looking for fake justification for russian crimes. There is no justification for a geocine committed by Russia.
1
Belarus is in a fact a art of Russia. It is a separate state by name only. Lukasheno can not go to toilet without asking Putin for his permission.
1
It is Russia which created Putin, not the opposite.
1
They are in fact a part of Russia and there is nothing more messed up than that.
1
They have already did and it did not change anything. Not yet.
1
Get rid of Lukashenko first and be patient because it takes time. Nothing is for free. You have to work for it.

Poland has never been a part of USSR. It has never been soviet republic like Lithuania, Ukraine, Georgia, Belarus, Latvia, Estonia. It was soviet satelite state but it has always been a separate state. The same for Romania, Chechoslovakia, Hungary, Bulgaria.

@dimel1347 Bs bs and more bs. Unenployment in Poland was HUGE before 2004. Today is one of the lowest in EU. Poland would be lost without EU support and with such a neighbour like Russia or Belarus. In the early 90's Ukraine was richer than Poland (with the same about 40 000 people). Look where Poland is now even if you put war in Ukraine aside.

@vladnikolaev1558 Joining Nato and EU was a choice while being Warsaw pact country was not.. USSR invaded Poland on 17th of september 1939 and Soviets committed Katyn Massacre of Polish people in 1940. Polish people did not invade Soviets to their homeland. Soviets came and stay, did not want to leave. Polish people have been fighting for decades to be free of soviet influence. Not every Pole speaks English, young people do and good for them because it improves their work and life opportunities. . Polish people were forced to learn russian at school during Cold war era and most did not like it either. If Russia was a good neighbour, there would be no need to join Nato to be secured. Russia loves inavding and annexing its neighbours. If your coutry borders Russia you can become Nato member like Poland or Lithuania, Russia's puppet like Belarus or Russia's victim like Ukraine. Poland chose Nato and Poland was right.

@bean420man I know. But Poland was never a part of USSR as a country. It was not a soviet republic like Ukraine or Belarus for example.
