@handmadehearts Finland is going to be Nato member. I am not surised. I don't blame them. If Russia was a good neighbor, there would be no need to join Nato.

West did not want to die for Poland in 1939 but Hitler came to their door steps anyway. Pretending being blind will not help you to avoid bigger troubles in a long run. Dictators always want more. Ukraine is much more important than you think.

@goosengander1259 Nato never promised Russia not to expand. Why should it? It's typical russian fake. No papers signed no problem. Who does Russia think it is to decide about other country's pact choices? This war is not about Nato at Russia's border. If it was Putin would attack Lithuania or Poland, both Russia's neighbors and Nato members for about 20 years. This war is about Putin's ego. He does not even consider Ukraine as an independent state. Nato expansion is simply excuse.

And who is Russia to tell its neighbors what they can or can not do for their safety? Isnt's it the same Russia which keeps invading its neighbors? Has Nato ever invaded Russia? And stop this Cuba crap. USSR is gone, Rusia is anything but super power and Russians seem to be the only one not to get it yet. USA did not annex Cuba and Americans did not rape women and children of Cuba. Do you really trust Putin who is in ower for over 20 years? He stopped thinking clear long time ago.
