@НиколайКазанский-м7я Russia simply needs excuses. Putin has no red lines and it does not matter what West and Ukraine did or did not do. Russia loves invading and annexing its neighbours and has never had any respect for its neighbours, their independence, security concerns, agenda, right to decide on their own. Russia does ot own Eastern Europe.Eastern Europeans are free people, their pact and political choices are up to them, not up to Russia. Russia is simply cheap gas station and anything but super power. Deal with it instead of looking for excuses for your own crimes, failures and mistakes.

I am sure Scholz and Macron would not give a damn if Ukraine failed during first 3 days of war. If Putin invaded Nato member state of Latvia for examle, one of them would call Putin and that's it.

@Robert-xy4xi It is easy to be blind and naive if your couuntry has no common border with Russia but Germany is only one country away from this nightmare. Power is the only language Putin cares about and pretending being blind wll not help you to avoid bigger troubles in a long run.

Germans have a sense of guilt when it comes to Russia and WWII and have no clue millions of soviet victims were in fact Ukrainians. Russia took all WWII USSR glory and always skips its history dark sides like invasion of Poland on 17th of september 1939, Katyn Massacre of Polish people in 1940 and being Hitler's ally till 1941. For Eastern Europe USSR was anything but liberator. Many Americans and Western Europeans have no clue about it.

Guess what...Eastern Europeans had their security concerns as well and that is why so many of them joined Nato as quicly as they could. It is Russia which keeps invading its neighbours, not the opposite so stop playing the victim card and look in the mirror. Nato is an excuse for Putin. He hates Nato because he knows Russia is too weak to invade and annex Nato member neighbours. All he can do is to invade non Nato neighbour and he still fails. Putin does not want Ukraine to exist. Nato is an excuse to justify his crimes and sick legacy in front of his own people. Why didn't Putin invade Finland which has the biggest land border with Russia and wants to join Nato? Nato is at Russia's borders for decades. Did Putin wake up yesterday? No. It is simply not about Nato. It is about Russia's imperialism and lack of resect for its neighbours. Nothin new under the sun.

Russia was supposed to respect Ukraine's independence and borders according to Budapest Memorandum signed by Russia in 1994. Putin lies every time he moves his lips and power is the only language he really cares about, Stop pretending Russia is the humanitarian and peaceful here. If so many Eastern Europeans turned their back on you and hate you it is for a reason.

Russia is a threat to its neighbours and their security because it is Russia the one to invade and annex itns neighbours, not the oposite.
