Russia loves taking all WWII glory as long as it suits Russia and always skips its dark sides. BTW Soviet victims were also Ukrainians. Hardly anyone cares. For Eastern Europe USSR was anything but liberator. They were Hitler's ally till 1941 and even after that they were no better than nazis for Poles and other nations in this part of Europe.
