@kilovolt2494 Thank you for this post. What a shame people like you are still a minority in Russia. Most have never been abroad I wouldn't like to die in the name of Putin's ego either. The problem is that dead Putin would not turn Russia into democratic state overnight. Russia has never been a democracy. They were raised that way and don't know any better. USSR is gone but russian state of mind is still soviet or even XIX century "more land=more power" which is bs. West has been treating Russia like a special need baby for too long. Did you know Germany's trade with Poland is bigger than Germany's trade with Russia? Hardly anyone knows it. Russia has never treated its neighburs as partners. Russia's neighbours can become Russia's victims, Russia's puppets or Nato member states. Nato never in its history attacked Russia. Dictators need excuses to justify their sick ideas. Russia''s neighburs are mostly not rusophobic. They are rusoexperienced. With or without Putin I doubt it will be any better anytime soon. It's not a matter of one Putin in the office.

@evryatis9231 Putin never cared for people of Russia.
1
It has always been like that in Russia. It's Russia/USSR which created Putin, not the opposite. Russia will never become a democratic state.
1
@meanlean3095 And in the end Churchill and FDR sold their ally Poland in Yalta to Stalin.
1
@tomsexton3625 They did not care about this was as long as it did not hit them personally. As always in Russia.
1
@kilovolt2494 Is Russia a special need baby? Are you raised to be passive and act like slaves? How come Poles or Baltics were able to stand up against Russiaover centuries and Russians can not do the same?
1
@waitwhat-qg9bc They are defending itself and fighting for their land while Russian's are fighting in the name of Putin's ego.
1
@waitwhat-qg9bc And one last thing. Stop blaming a victim for looking for help and defending itself. Dictators always want more, they never calm down and Putin broke every deal he made.
1
@waitwhat-qg9bc What deal? There was no deal "not to expand east", for examle. It's pure russian propaganda and fake. And it was not Russia to decide about other independent countries pact choices
1
@khiem1939 I guess it was Stalin who said "There are a lot of people living in Russia. One killed man it's a tragedy. Millions of dead people it's a statistic".
1
@ChrisAlbertH47 Russia has always been like that. They are not being raised to stand against their leader (whoever leader is at the moment). It's not a matter of one Putin. It's Russia which created Putin, not the opposite.
1
@neomangeo7822 It's Russia which created Putin, not the opposite, stop being naive.
1
@mandrews1245 They have no gun to hold in the first place, and no will to fight in the name of Putin's ego
1
@deanbarnett8538 Polish pilots did help a lot in the battle of Britain. Give them some credit. Stop pretending they did everything by themselves.
1
@MildMisanthropeMaybeMassive It's Russia. Russian people hardly ever stand up againts their leader.
1
@malik479 They have no will to fight and no gun to hold
1
@thedustyhead 22 years? Whole history of Russia is like that.
1
@steverogers5018 Poor people in America are not educated enought to know it's their business to help Ukraine.
1
@kilovolt2494 I heard Russians simply love "they are afraid of us" sense of feeling and they put it above improving their standard of living. You know.."We have no toilet at home, we have never been abroad but we have nukes" Today Russia is anything but super power and Russians seem to be the only one not to get it yet
1
N. Chamberlain knew something about it.
1
@AnthonyGarcia-sy3yk Russian nukes are broken crap, I bet
1
@HailTheApocalypse Putin is in power for over 20 years. At one point dictators simply stop thinking clear.
1
@TJ Russia never moves forward. Russia is always the same.
1
@michaelbee2165 He has been killing his opponents from the very beginning but as long as was doing it inside of Russia West did not give a damn.
1
@Altinget Stalin was Putin's childhood hero...
1
@HailTheApocalypse It's Russia/USSR which created Putin, not the opposite. Russia will never change. It has been a threat to its neighbours for centuries.
1
@melaniebrinson2365 He does not value russian conservatism or traditions. He uses it for his own goals.
1
@inquisitvem6723 It's Russia/USRR which created Putin. Putin out of office would not turn Russia into democratic state overnight. Russia has never been democratic and never will be.
1
@ChrisAlbertH47 Russians always act like this. They come without invitation and stay for decades. They don't care nobody asked them for "liberation" They love USSR WWII glory but at the same time they never own u to their own guilt (USSR attacked Poland in 1939 and was Hitler's ally till 1941). They think they were/are all angels and liberators while in fact for Eastern Europeans they were anything but.
1
@mandrews1245 Why should we always care about utin's wants, needs, paranoia and excuses? Russia's so called safety concerns are paranoid while Ukrainian safety concerns are real. People of Ukraine are free to decide on their own. They are not a buffer zone, they are not sphere of infuence and it's not Russia to decide about other country's pact choices. They only nazis in Ukraine are russian soldiers who are killing and raing Ukrainian women and children. Nato never in its history attacked Russia. It's always Russia attacking its neighbours with stupid excuses. Dictators need excuses and fake justification. Nobody cres about illegal, fake referendum under russian guns. It has no credibility and only brainwashed Russians believe in 90% pro russian votes.
1
@Seer645 Nobody cares for fake illegal referendums under russian guns. It has no credibility. Donbas is Ukraine.
