There was a huge Ukrainian community living in Poland before this war so many of them have friends and family in Poland. Polish and Ukrainian languages are similar, we are close neighbours, we know each other. They would feel like strangers in countries like Germany or UK.

  17.  @2Uahoj  They are very hardworking people. They are proud nation well known for not taking benefits. They want to work unlike many people from ME countries living in Western Europe. They prefer living in Poland not because of benefit system (that is better in Germany of course). It's much more than money. They are similar to Polish people in terms of culture and language and they feel welcome here.
