I was born in Wales, lived in England, and emigrated to Australia in 1970 at the age of nineteen. I've been back on seven occasions, but I'm not sure I want to see it again, considering the state it's in. Instead of being grateful and respectful to a country which has given them a safe and civilised place to live, immigrants have treated the traditional inhabitants with total disrespect and little desire to assimilate to the culture that has made Britain what it once was. People from the northern part of Europe speak English far better than many people in England. I don't even know how to describe the way some of these people who, despite being born in England, sound as though they've just got off a boat from somewhere else.
