I live in Queensland, Australia and I was barely inconvenienced during lockdown. In fact, I used the time to do things that I had neglected to do around the house. However I share the seething resentment of those who were far more impacted than I. I was prohibited from going to restaurants, pubs, cinemas, and not allowed to walk on the beach etc but being retired I didn't lose my livelihood. I didn't have to let a loved one pass away without any contact. I didn't have a medical problem that was put on hold because medical staff were too busy testing or jabbing people. The bastards who were in positions of authority still need to be held accountable for all that. I've written several letters to MP's regarding their culpability and unsurprisingly received no response.

@warrenklein7817 Comparisons to previous statistics of Influenza (which in some cases exceeded Covid) were ignored. At one stage, there were onlt 9 ‘Covid related’ deaths in Queensland over a period of eighteen months. This data (strangely) changed shortly after release. In just twelve months of 2019, 267 deaths were attributed to Influenza. There has never been any restrictions or mandates based on cases of Influenza.
