  1. What we all saw in 2020-22 was an awakening. The belief that governments and regulatory bodies were fundamentally benign and functioned in a way that benefited us came crashing down around our ears. The zeal with which people like Jacinda Ardern, Emmanuel Macron, Justin Trudeau and many state, province and local leaders along with their respective health officers leapt at the opportunity to oppress and control us came into full view.
