  1. I think it's stupid when people use the expression "the 'N' word", just to avoid using the word 'Nigger' when you're not actually using it in reference to anyone. It's just a word. I have the DVD of the movie 'The Dam Busters' where actor Richard Todd plays the role of the real life WW2 RAF pilot Wing Commander Guy Gibson. On a couple of occasions in the film, they call Gibson's dog 'Nigger' because that was the dog's actual name. I know this was correct because my mother was in the RAF at the time; based at the same air base where the crew's of 617 Squadron assembled and she use to feed it! Saw the film on free to air TV the other week and they were still calling the dog 'Nigger' without editing it out.
