It doesn't surprise me one bit that a great deal (if not most) of any criticism or accusation of racism comes from white people. I don't know if they're left or right but they just seem to be part of this 'critical race theory' or 'cancel culture' brigade. I live in Australia, and during a period of lockdown the usual gatherings of our national day of celebration were prohibited. There was however, an illegal protest march (unlike other assemblies, unchallenged by police) to 'stick it' to the colonial and imperialistic past. The protesters were nearly all white and when approached by independent news reporters, half of them didn't really know what they were there for.
