It's interesting how that back in the fifties and sixties, policemen still had a bearing such that one didn't 'trifle' with them despite the absence of weapons and tattoos.

@methaneman4045 That was in the days when the physical size was seen as a 'tool of the trade' to enable a policeman to contain a perpetrator without having to use weapons or 'batter' him.
