  1. When I look around I have no doubt there is a noticable degree of 'fatness' around. Whether it existed before or not I'm not sure. I think if there has been any increase over the years, it would be in men. Occupations tend to be much less labour oriented these days than before, with greater access to 'bad' diets. I must admit I was shocked to be assessed as obese (according to a chart at work) at a height of five foot, ten and a half inches (189cm) , and a weight of 94kg.
