You're correct in your reference to the aerofoil section of a helicopter's rotor blade for 'efficient flight' but ignored the fact that the basic principle of lift is simply a result of an 'inclined plane', so you don't actually need an aerofoil to maintain flight. You may notice some aircraft can actually fly upside down (reversing the aerofoil effect). So Dawkins isn't completely wrong. I must admit though, although I generally support his 'pursuit' of religious fantasy, I found his book 'The God Delusion' rather heavy going and sometimes a bit hard to follow, ironically when he once again referred to the assembly of a Boeing 747 (I think it was).
