  1. I have no doubt the BBC (just like our ABC in Australia) are completely biased and all the other stuff. However, most of us were brought up with the Anglicised pronunciations of cities around the world. It almost sounds patronising when English speaking people try to pronounce words in a manner other than the way the rest of us do. It has that 'I've been everywhere' sense to it. Anyway, when you move to Wales, you'll probably have your work cut out. I was born there and have some difficulty.
