  1. I live just north of Brisbane in Queensland and several years ago I accompanied a group of friends to a resort island for a day's 'recreation'. While we were there, we all competed in a 'flip flop' throwing competition. Most of the efforts resulted in the item only being projected a few metres. When I threw it, it caught the air at the perfect angle (inclined plane) and soared off into the distance, never came back and was never to be found again. As Charlie Drake would say, "I'm a disgrace to the Aborigine race".
