I think it's fairly well known that people like Francis Drake were probably only legalized pirates. Then again, so were the so called national maritime heroes on the other side. That's what they did in those days; steal from the other guys. I don't have a problem with the reality of history being brought forward in front of the legend or fantasy as long as it's not JUST the British.
