  1. I think there probably is a tendency to be less 'accepting' of black people than say Chinese or Indian. We probably associate Chinese, Indian and middle eastern countries with cultural aspects which we find appealing. Chinese Indian and Mediterranean/ Arabic food is immensely popular in most English-speaking countries. Most cities have a 'Chinatown' which adds a cultural colour to the district. I can't honestly say that African culture has the same impact.

  2. @CG I think it's just part of the appeal which forms the 'layers' of one's view of others. Just a thought really.
