  1. It breaks my heart. I've lived in Australia for many years now but spent most of my early and middle childhood years near Newquay. Went to secondary school at St. Column Minor. Dad was in the RAF and worked as an air traffic controller at RAF St. Mawgan (now Newquay airport) while we lived at the old married quarters at the disused RAF airfield at St. Eval. I've been back to Newquay twice since 2014. Don't think I'll be back anytime soon though.

  2.  @Mary-lx3zs  There's certainly that sort of thing going on here but probably a bit less consistent. We don't have the same illegal immigration issue or hotels filled with single men who have come over by boats. There was an incident the other day where woman's rights protesters were attacked by pro trans groups (in Melbourne I think). I live north of Brisbane in Queensland so I'm probably not exposed to some of the activities in the cities.

  3.  Ben Gunn  I wouldn’t imagine who they voted for would make any difference any more than it does here. The interests of the citizens of places like the UK (and Australia) have been abandoned by the scum in government and their supposed opposition.
