When you look at the track record of Pfizer over the last few decades, which includes massive legal settlements and fines, there would also be reasonable cause for concern.

@dr.cliche7560 I may have mis read some of the information available but it seems as though Thalidomide has been 're-purposed' and is still in use. Despite known side effects identified in the late fifties and sixties, Thalidomide was still being sold in Canada in 1962.

@davidreece1642 I guess it's important to understand that there can be good and bad uses of medicines and not just dismiss them out of hand. Morphine is probably a well known example of having a bad reputation for addiction when used to treat injured soldiers (notably Korean war) but later used quite successfully as a means of pain management.

Absolutely. It seems the advocates of vaccine mandates (and vilification of those that oppose) seem to lump Covid in with viruses that were real killers regardless of the absence of pre-existing ailments; or presented life long disabilities such as Polio.
