Britain is already on 'dangerous ground' by supplying the hardware and technological support (programming) of the highly sophisticated precision guided 'Storm Shadow' missile to the Ukranian Air Force. Typically, this weapon would be launched from an RAF 'Typhoon' (Eurofighter) jet. Apparently now being adapted to an Ukranian Su-24 "Fencer' to be seen to not be directly engaged in hostilities, this is not convincing Putin. He knows that Ukraine is not just simply receiving these weapons, sticking then under the wings of their jets and taking it from there. Putin has (probably correctly) concluded that either British or French personnel are actively involved in the delivery to their assigned targets.
