  1. The first episode of 'Vigil' television series aired on the BBC was televised on free to air television in Australia recently. The story centres around the fictional nuclear powered ballistic missile armed submarine HMS 'Vigil'. It came as no surprise that the captain was black, although I wondered how many black nuclear submarine captains there have been in the Royal Navy.
