  1. Not being one of a particularly scholarly nature, the works of Shakespeare generally eluded me. I was at one stage immersed in Macbeth although I'll never forgive that bastard teacher who forced me, of all people (the most reserved 15 year old) to stand up in front of all the boys and girls in the class and provide an explanation as to what Lady Macbeth meant when she said something along the lines of "Unsex me, remove the milk of human kindness and fill my breasts with gall".
