Scientists in government should be, and could be a good thing, except they do have the tendency to "sell their souls to the Devil." They tend to consider themselves "The" science. A move particularly concerning when governments are about to (if they haven't already) signed up to the WHO 'Pandemic Preparedness Treaty'. Still, give the fellow a chance to prove that "change" is possible. It's just that periodically swapping from one of the major parties to the other doesn't seem to bring any real positive change, does it?
