I suppose one has to consider what "conspiracy theory" means. My understanding is that the foundation of the theory assumes the existence of a deliberate deception to hide the truth, often followed by a presentation of what that truth is. Interestingly, during the Covid pandemic, qualified and eminent medical practitioners were being called "conspiracy theorists" even though they were presenting legitimate questions and scientific facts without necessarily suggesting a deception as much as incompetence, narrow mindedness and in many cases megalomania.
