I've probably always been a bit guarded of statistics from government or media sources and it was one of the first things that crossed my mind when the local statistics were being released. I live in Queensland, Australia and I was curious to know how they were identifying the cause of death so readily. After a while the state's Chief Health Officer was forced to admit that medical authorities were including anyone who had the virus in their body as the cause of death regardless of any other cause.
