  1. Vig you are leaving out important details. 1. These are the outliers not the norm. 2. Each person that you mentioned was well known or held a high office prior to winning the nomination. 3. Not one of them were socialists wanting to steal money from people and companies and redistribute it to those who didn't earn it and don't deserve it. Yang will only be a memory in 6 months time. By the way I used to debate others who were gaga over Ron Paul. They knew he'd be the nominee...What happned there? Same thing that is going to happen to Mr Yang. He won't make it. Thridly, "redistribution of wealth" is a socialist tenent. In America you need to actually work to get money. And finally Yang has about as much chance of getting the democrat nomination as does Sponge Bob.

Anyone who actually believes that the US Government is going to hand out $1,000 per month to anyone THEY consider rich has certainly not reached the age of 30 yet. And if they have they  are cerainly NOT politically astute. If your wet dream of Yang ever came true his plan would get shot down in Congress DOA (dead on arrival). If by a strange miracle it did pass it would pass with the caveat that no one THEY consider rich (would be lowered to anyone in the upper middle class) would ever see a dime of the "free money". However, they would certainly take said money away from those who earned it to fullfill this foolish scheme of Yangs. Yangs plan is certainly NOT based in sound capitalist doctrine. People earn money they then spend this money and the economy grows. How do they earn money? They WORK FOR IT. I agree automation will displace about 25% of the workforce. But that has happened in the past as society advanced. People move on and earn their income by moving into another field. Why are we even discussing this? Yang will never become President and it's almost laughable to think that there are people who think that he will be. My Gosh....I swear I am having deja vu with the Ron Paul supportes from 2008. I am claiming that it will do many things and all of them bad. 1.reduce the number of low paying people to draw to the workforce. 2. Give people an incentive to work LESS (did you see that I said LESS). If someone starts 75 businesses and 5 of them don't work that is actually considered a great record!  Are you thinking that everything a business person does is supposed to work? LMAO. The odds of becoming President of the US are about 1 in 43,000,000. Granted Yang's chances are better than this because he is an actual candidate. But, I can assure you that before the democrats allow Yang to win (he is not their man), they will dust off Hillary and cheat Yang out of the nomination. And that is if every other candidate drops out. Again, don't let this dampen the great spirit that you obviously have for backing someone you believe in. But, as you get older in life you will see that who you think is the best is not always whom everyone else thinks is the best and certainly not someone that the party wants to represent them.   31. Master Debater, the average state minumim wage is between $7.30 and $9.00 per hour. Once taxes are taken out that leaves a person with just about $1,000 per month. If this "freedom dividend" which is no more than extended welfare, is enacted...bye bye low wage workers! But I guess your hero Yang didn't think that through did he? Read the constitution it is not the US Governments job to hand out money to its people for no reason. The only job they are taxed with is to protect its citizens from foriegn powers. I admire them greatly, however not one of them including Yang is going to actually become President of the United States. As for Trumps "8th grade vocabulary" it seems to be working for him. Did you know that the average person speaks on a lower level than that on a daily basis? They relate to Trump. Is he doing this so that they will relate to him? He went to the best schools in the Nation, Wharton business school. His father loaned him 1 million dollars and he made billions out of it in the NYC realestate market (not easy to do). He was the first person to ever be elected President without having first held high elected office or be a General. He beat both the republican and democrat machines and also both the Bush and Clinton dynasty's. In additon to that take a look at his record.
