  2.  @justinbetland9792  I have taken unused shotgun shells apart. It is shot,quite a bit of PADDING,then gunpowder. Padding could be a blanket or clump of grass that seals the gunpowder tight and away from load and compresses the gunpowder. All would come out, the padding not flying that far because it has no weight. Its purpose was to ram out the odd shape shot...which could be rocks and nails..in this case heads.

  3. Moving to a different culture, say the Mayans (where it is hot hot hot) they too had the same alignments, so the winter solstice said that was the shortest day of the year. So it is something to do with seasonal planting of crops. The Egyptians too, had that winter solstice figured out and NOT BECAUSE OF TEMPERATURE.
