  1. They were going down for a look see & that is all. They could not do anything but look. Fish do not exist at that depth. So not even treasure. They could have visited the Britannic as it is not as deep...and basically the same size ship...though it is in the Baltic Ocean.

  2. Carbon fiber to me is = to fiberglass & resin is polyester resin. Fiberglass boats are made out of this stuff(fiberglass & resin) It is breakable. Carbon fiber is just something else instead of fiberglass. The hull was 5" thick(it should have been 7") Even then there may have been gunshot sounds(that is the resin breaking) Not a sound you want to hear at ANY DEPTH. It is coming apart. Why wouldn't he do tests on a model of it in a tank and watch what happens when pressure is applied? We have the machines to do such tests at extreme pressures. . His lack of concern about no communications shows he is nuts. He has no way to get out of his CAN to let air in once it surfaced. Could it float? No tests performed. It fell like a lead weight.(with all ballast weight removed and with thruster motors running it was BARELY GOING UP. I understood that the dive would take 12 hours(yet SR was going to do it in 2 1/2hours?)
