Yeah BUT what about the torque wrenches that have a needle and no ratchet head? They were $50 in the day. Click wrench was not available YET. I bought my Craftsman wrenches in the 70's? Wheel bolts are armstrong tight. Steel on Steel. Certainly have used the torque wrench for head bolts on diesel engines or inch/lbs on motorcycle engines. Have not done 1000 torques nor planning on it before I hit the casket. Nor do I keep count. The way I understand it, torque wrenches are NOT ACCURATE AT THE MINIMUM OR MAXIMUM points. & 50 is like at the Minimum measurement. Which is why I have an inch/lb torque wrench. This is basically a hand wrench tightness...so not highly critical. I believe the 250lb(too lazy to check) would be maxing out my foot pound torque wrench so again I would NOT USE IT.
