  1. RECORD was my vise name(made in England) Was a 4" vise. I used a 4 foot cheater bar on the handle to hold the part. It broke the vise. Could not dent it. Super well made. I bought a 5" Harbor freight one & broke the replaceable jaw where the screw is on one side so had to glue the jaw back on. It will do. Definitely cannot beat on the jaw like I could the "Record" which was smaller and 40 years old.
