  2. The trouble is: the modern cars of today do not have enough height for a floor jack. I got to raise the car 3"(by driving on TWO 2x6 set up as a ramp(as metal ramp will not fit under either) Honda. <compared to my former car VW Beetle> Once I am up 3 inches then the floor jack will sit under the lower control arm near wheel. Now, I can remove tire while on floor jack. That is a tire full of air, so a flat tire will be a problem. Designers never think that tires ever get flats. Body jacks are a cruel joke.
